Douglas County deputies arrested a 23-year-old woman after authorities found a dead infant with its umbilical cord still attached in the backyard of a Highlands Ranch home, authorities say.
Camille Wasinger-Konrad is being held without bond for investigation of first-degree murder in the Douglas County Detention Center, according to a news release by Sheriff Tony Spurlock.
At around 9:48 p.m. Tuesday, a witness called 911 and reported seeing what appeared to be a lifeless infant in the backyard of a home on the 500 block of Longfellow Lane.
