Shangreaux drank a lot of alcohol and took pain medication just before the fatal attack, according to the statement she signed March 20.

Man Assaults Cop By Grabbing His Frank And Beans!!!

STAUNTON – A man charged with his third alcohol-related driving offense in five years is in jail after he reportedly grabbed the genitals of a Staunton police officer following his arrest, resulting in a felony assault charge.

Dustin M. Vance, 35, of Stuarts Draft, is being held at Middle River Regional Jail on numerous charges.

Vance was behind the wheel of Ford Mustang on Sunday shortly before 1:30 a.m. when he was stopped near the intersection of Greenville Avenue and Mill Street in Staunton for having a defective license tag light, police said.After being taken to the nearby Staunton Police Department, Vance reportedly kneed a police officer in the leg and attempted to knee him in the groin before grabbing him.

“He actually grabbed the officer by the groin,” said Officer Katie Shifflett, a spokesperson for the police department.

No injuries were reported.

Vance was charged with felony assault on a law enforcement officer.

He was also charged with driving outside of the restrictions for a restricted license, refusal of a breath test-second offense and driving with defective equipment.

He was charged with DUI-third offense within five years, a felony.

Drunk Woman Crashes Into Closed Weed Store To Teach A Lesson!!

Lisa Christine Walter, 37, appeared in Yellowstone County Justice Court on Monday on a felony criminal mischief charge and aggravated driving under the influence second offense, a misdemeanor. Justice of the Peace David Carter set bond at $10,000.

Police were called to Grow World, at 3130 King Ave. W., on Friday at 9 a.m., according to charges. There they found Walter drinking from a measuring glass, with her blue Honda Civic driven partially through the front doors of the business.

All 10 of the front windows to the business had been broken, police said. There was a baseball bat sticking out of the rear passenger side window, a sledgehammer sitting on the front seat and a bottle of Jack Daniels in the rear of the car.

Walter was reportedly agitated because she could not buy marijuana from the business because it was closed.

Man Arrested For Throwing Burrito At Sister!!

Casper police on Saturday arrested a 20-year-old man who allegedly threw a hot burrito at his younger sister, resulting in a burn on her left arm.

Gage L. Fisher was booked into jail on a recommended charge of assault. He will likely make his initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court at 2 p.m. Monday.

A police officer responded to 1016 North Kimball for a reported assault at 6:18 p.m. Saturday, according to court documents.

The mother of both Fisher and the victim told the officer that the two had gotten into an argument about a cup, with Fisher believing his younger sister had taken the cup from which he had been drinking.

The mother told Fisher to leave the house in order to defuse the situation, and Fisher became angry at his mother for taking his sister’s side in the matter.

Fisher then threw a hot burrito, “which had just been removed from the microwave,” at his sister. The burrito hit her arm and caused a burn.

The officer photographed the girl’s left arm and saw a red mark “consistent with something hot, like a burrito, striking her,” according to the affidavit.

Fisher, who reportedly had failed to appear in court, failed to comply with a court order or failed to pay as ordered by a judge seven times in Natrona County, was arrested.

Dirt Bags Steal From Shooting Memorial

Broward Sheriff’s deputies arrested two people they say were stealing items from a makeshift memorial outside of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. 37-year-old Michael Kennedy and 40-year-old Kara O’Neil were arrested on Sunday night and charged with “one count of disfiguring a tomb or monument, a third-degree felony.”

Witnesses alerted police after they saw the couple removing items from the fence around 10 pm on Sunday night. A police deputy said he “found teddy bears, plaques and pin wheels” from the memorial site in the backseat of their vehicle.

When Kennedy appeared in court on Monday morning he argued that the memorial was not a tomb or monument and that the charges should be dropped. The judge disagreed with his assessment of the law and ordered both him and O’Neil be held on $1,000 bond.

Kennedy is currently unemployed and served time in state prison for delivering oxycontin, burglary, and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Neither Kennedy or O’Neil offered a reason for why they were stealing the cherished items from the memorial site.

A UC Berkeley student and activist with the animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere covered herself in animal feces outside a San Francisco Trader Joe’s on Thursday morning.

The woman, Cassie King, was protesting at the store on Fourth Street in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood over conditions at farms that supply eggs to Trader Joe’s. A recent investigation by Direct Action Everywhere allegedly found starving chickens living amid heaps of their own waste at a supplier in Michigan.

Trader Joe’s has denied that the farm in question is a Trader Joe’s supplier.

Kidnapping Over $5 Drug Debt!!

Five suspects from Artesia and Carlsbad were arrested last week after attempting to kidnap two people over a $5 drug debt.

Around 3 p.m. March 15, a New Mexico State Police officer on patrol near Artesia overheard Artesia Police Department officers being dispatched to 26th Street and Fairgrounds Road in reference to a kidnapping in progress.

The officer arrived to find five individuals surrounding a blue car. As the officer approached, the individuals jumped into a red pickup truck and began to flee the scene.

The officer was able to stop the red pickup and detain all five subjects without incident.

Upon further investigation, the NMSP learned the truck had been chasing the blue car – which contained two individuals – across Artesia. Those inside the car had called 911 for help before their vehicle ran out of gas at 26th and Fairgrounds.

The victims told police a male and female subject from the pickup had held them at gunpoint. The male then broke their cell phones and took their shoes. The pair was ordered out of the car at gunpoint, at which time the NMSP officer arrived on scene.

Law enforcement obtained a search warrant for the pickup and found numerous weapons and ammunition inside. The victims informed police they owed the suspects a $5 drug debt and believed they were going to be kidnapped and killed.
