A 34-year-old man was charged with willful injury and domestic assault with intent to inflict serious injury after the Saturday incident. He is being held at the Pottawattamie County Jail and faces up to 12 years in prison if convicted.
Bluffs police responded to a dispute at midnight Saturday inside a room at a hotel near 27th Avenue and South 24th Street. Investigators found a pocket knife outside the door with blood on it. In the bathroom, they found the injured brother cleaning blood from a wound to his abdomen.
