66 Year Old Man’s Failed Attempts To Throw Partial Stick Of Dynamite Out Window While Driving!!

MOUNT MORRIS – A Mount Morris man escaped injury on Christmas Eve when a partial stick of dynamite exploded inside the pickup he was driving.
Walter E. Coil, 66, was trying to throw the lighted quarter-stick out his window shortly before 9 p.m., but failed, Police Chief Jason White said.
Coil lost control in the explosion, and the truck jumped a curb and struck the west side of the former Mount Morris Township Building, which is on the southeast corner of Center Street and Wesley Avenue, White said.
Two women in the truck with him were treated for minor injuries.
Coil was charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct for endangering the safety of others, posted $150 of his $1,500 bond and has a Jan. 18 court date.
