Nancy Barr, 58, formerly of Haverhill and now of Salisbury, was sentenced to two years in state prison followed by three years probation.
The judge said he was also taking into account that a plea would spare Barr’s daughter, who functions at the level of an 8- or 9-year-old child, from having to testify.
“She really is an unfortunate person who was taken advantage of,” he said last week.
Barr’s ex-boyfriend, John Leone, 69, of Methuen, is serving a three-to-five-year prison term after pleading guilty to rape and indecent assault and battery charges last May.
Barr and Leone had been involved in a relationship. At some point, however, Leone took an interest in her daughter, who was in her early 20s at the time, a prosecutor said.
Barr encouraged her daughter to have sex with Leone, who was paying for Barr’s cable and internet service, investigators said.
