Daughter Leaves Disabled 85 Year Old Mom In Her OWN Shit Claims It’s “NOT A BIG DEAL!!”

SPRING HILL, Fla. — A drunk woman’s call to 911 ended with law enforcement responding to her home and discovering her 85-year-old mother covered in feces and using a diaper to keep warm, authorities say.
A Hernando County Sheriff’s Office deputy, writing in the arrest report, found 61-year-old Kimberly Schmeling unwilling to care for her mother.
An intoxicated Schmeling called 911 dispatch operators around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, and complained family in New York had hung up the phone on her, according to a news release. When deputies arrived, they found the woman in deplorable conditions.
Deputies were told she is disabled, suffered from dementia and Schmeling is her only care provider.
The mother told deputies her daughter refused to clean or take care of her, refusing to find other resources for help. She was covered in feces and was seen wrapping an unused adult diaper around her neck to keep warm, deputies say.
Schmeling tried to counter by placing clean pants over her soiled clothes.
“When the defendant was questioned why she refused to clean her mother, she replied that it was not a big deal and that her mother was treating her poorly,” the arrest report reads.
Schmeling was arrested and charged with neglect of a disabled elderly person.
