Man Shoplifted At Store, Applied For Job!!

Gillette Police were called to Sportsman’s Warehouse on Friday morning on a case of shoplifting.
Sometime Wednesday, loss prevention officers at the store reported a pair of sunglasses missing along with .30-30 caliber bullets valued at $49.98.
A 36-year-old man was identified as a suspect when he used a rewards card to buy other items and store video recorded him taking the tags off the sunglasses and bullets. After that, police were notified of the theft and suspect, said Sgt. Kelly Alger.
Three hours later, police were called to the store again on a shoplifting case with a twist.
The same 36-year-old man returned to the store and asked to fill out a job application. At the time, store officials said he also took two pairs of sunglasses worth $84.94 without paying for them.
Police officers ticketed the man for the thefts and also recovered all of the items taken, Alger said.
There was no word on his prospects for a job.
